Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast
The Allegheny County Bar Association's Homer S. Brown Division will host its 19th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast and Program on Monday, Jan. 15th at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 Wylie Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. The breakfast and program commemorates the life of Dr. King and his contributions that led to changes in law and social justice.
The buffet breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed by a brief program at 8:30 a.m. HSBD will honor Paul H. Titus, Esq., Counsel - Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP as the recipient of its 2018 Drum Major for Justice Award. The name of the award originates from one of Dr. King's final sermons about a eulogy that might be given in the event of his death.
Please note, the university is coordinating free travel to and from the event, which is open to the public.
