Biography

Adam J. Tragone currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. He focuses his scholarship on the First Amendment, particularly the freedom of the press and its interplay on modern media.  In recognition of his contributions, he received the Adjunct Professor Award from the school's Student Bar Association in the fall of 2022. Additionally, Adam is actively involved as a coach for the school's Appellate Moot Court team.

Adam earned his B.A. from Juniata College in 2009 and his J.D. from the Duquesne Kline School of Law in 2016. With a wealth of experience, he has litigated First Amendment issues nationally, both in private practice and on behalf of non-profit organizations. He holds admissions to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and numerous federal courts across the country.
