Biography

Afokoghene Okpozo, M.B.B.S., Ph.D., has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistants Studies Department faculty at Duquesne University since 2016. Prior to her current position, she worked for five years in the Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she taught Anatomy and Physiology courses. She also served as a full-time faculty member for a year at the Physician Assistant Program under the same institution's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She enjoys teaching Pathophysiology as well as guiding students in Gross Anatomy Cadaveric dissections.
