Biography

Dr. Nichole Scarlett joined the department as full time faculty in the Fall of 2025 after serving as adjunct faculty since 2017. After transferring from Oklahoma State University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematics Education from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA and a Master of Science in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Mathematics Education from the Robert Morris University. After spending 7 years in the K-12 setting, she returned to post-secondary education, serving as a mathematics and statistics instructor at the Slippery Rock University prior to beginning her doctoral education at Duquesne University while continuing to work with students in the K-12 setting for another 8 years.
