Biography

Yihhsing Liu, Ph.D., NCC, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Counselor Education program at Duquesne University. Dr. Liu has practiced psychotherapy and clinical mental health counseling in various types of treatment facilities in New York and Pennsylvania since 2010. Prior to her residence in the United Sates, she practiced psychiatric nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) in both the children’s and adults’ units at Taipei City Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, Taiwan. Dr. Liu’s research and clinical interests fall under the broad category of trauma-informed care, integrative medicine, clinical discourse analysis and critical multiculturalism.
