Eucharistic Adoration

Join us every Monday at 9 PM for an hour of Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament! This takes place in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. If you have never experienced an hour of silent Adoration before, a bit more information follows. The Eucharist is exposed on the altar to be praised, adored, and honored. Catholics believe that this is the true body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord. So, we honor Him by sitting in His presence. It is a time of deep prayer and connection. Think of it as the Lord gazing on you as you gaze back at Him. If you like to listen to worship songs while you adore Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, feel free to play your own songs on your phone (wearing earphones of course). If you like silence, feel free to sit before Jesus and gaze at Him. Bring your journals, Bibles, etc., and let's worship the Lord together as one Duquesne community.
