Zeta Tau Alpha was founded in 1898, at Long Wood University. It is currently the second
largest organization in the National Panhellenic Conference, with over 245,000 initiated
members. The Eta Beta chapter was chartered at Duquesne University on April 26th,
1970.
Their philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and they are partnered with The American Cancer Society, the National Football League, and Bright Pink. For the past three years, this chapter has been awarded Crown Chapter.
Last year, Zeta Tau Alpha won the Founders Club Achievement Award for raising $10,000 for the philanthropy.
