Phi Kappa Theta
Phi Kappa Theta fraternity was founded on April 29th, 1959 at The Ohio State University. Because of the dramatic expansion of fraternities following WWII and their similar ideals, it became increasingly evident that to stay competitive, Phi Kappa and Theta Kappa Phi fraternities should merge to form Phi Kappa Theta.
The Pennsylvania Alpha Xi chapter of Phi Kappa Theta was founded on September 11, 2004, at Duquesne University. Their philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network. The brothers support Children's Miracle Network by hosting an annual fish fry during the Lenten season and Monte Carlo Night.
The mission of Phi Kappa Theta is to actively develop men to be effective leaders who passionately serve society, Fraternity, and God. In 2015-16 they won best recruitment and associate member program amongst the fraternities here at Duquesne.
