Ciara also serves as the Secretary for Habitat for Humanity, Secretary of Mock Trial, and is a member of the Pre-Law Society, Economic Student Organization, and College Republicans.
As Vice President of Student Life, she advises the President on all Senatorial and Student Life matters; meets with the university Assistant Vice President for the Center for Student Involvement, meets with the leadership of the Residence Hall Association, Commuter Council, and the Duquesne Program Council, serves as a member of the Pittsburgh Student Government Council, and mediates all student complaints and concerns with respect to Student Life. Ciara also oversees Night of Lights, the SGA's annual philanthropy event.
Ciara's goals for the year are to help the SGA to have a better connection with the student body, further promote campus safety and awareness, mediate all student issues and concerns as much as possible, and work with other student organizations to strengthen community on campus.
Something you may not know about Ciara is that she went to cosmetology school before deciding to study economics.
