Meet the Staff
Nicole Feldhues joined Duquesne University as Director of Center for Career Development in July of 2008. Serving in this role, Nicole oversees the coordination of career development, programs, job search events, and employer relations for the students, faculty, and alumni of Duquesne University. She has more than 22 years of experience working in career services and student development in a higher education setting. She spent the majority of those years at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she held various positions in the Career Center, including Assistant Director and Business Fellows Project Manager. Prior to Ball State, Nicole served as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity.
Ms. Feldhues is an experienced speaker on topics related to career development, job-search planning, and workplace professionalism and makes educational presentations to both university classes and professional organizations.
She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Western Pennsylvania Career Services Association and PERC. She is a member of NACE - the National Association of College and Employers and PENNACE - the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Employers.
Nicole earned a Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Washington University in St. Louis. A native of Pittsburgh, Nicole has enjoyed living and working in her hometown again. She resides in Moon Township with her husband, Bill, and their three children, Hannah, Sophie, and Will.

Associate Director, Alumni Career Networks
Martin joined Duquesne University in February of 2019. He serves as a liaison between the Career Development Center and the Office of Alumni Engagement. In his role he seeks to expand the number of alumni assisting students with job and internship placements, mentoring, networking and advising. He attends regional and national events, networks with Duquesne alumni and friends of the University and works to develop key priorities and strategic partnerships with University directors and School deans.
Martin has previously served in career development and leadership roles at New York University, Carnegie Mellon, Brandeis University and Thiel College. He has directed international work-abroad programs, and served as an editor, translator, teacher and nonprofit administrator.
Martin holds a BA in English Literature and German Studies from SUNY Albany and an MPhil equivalent (ABD) in German Language & Literature from NYU. His passions include peace and conflict studies, community engagement and attacking Pittsburgh's daunting verticals on his bike. He lives with his wife and two sons in Oakmont, PA.

Coordinator for Recruiting, Data and Systems
Kim has been a member of the Center for Career Development team at Duquesne University for over 25 years. She manages the On Campus Interview Program and develops and maintains relationships with our employer partners. Kim also oversees and administers the Post Graduate Outcomes Survey.

Assistant Director/ Career Consultant for Liberal Arts and Education
Coralyn provides career consulting by appointment on Handshake. She coordinates programs and services for students, alumni, and faculty in the College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts and the School of Education. She serves as liaison to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Honors College, and Office of Community Engagement.
Coralyn has worked at Duquesne University since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Western Australia.

Assistant Director/ Career Consultant for Science, Engineering and Health Care
Debra coordinates programs and services for students, alumni, and faculty in the Sciences, Health Care, and Engineering. She serves as liaison with Commuter Affairs and the Office of Residence Life. Debra presents educational programs and meets individually with students and alumni.
Debra is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (LPC), and is a designated Master Career Counselor by the National Career Development Association. Having joined the staff in 2008, she has over 15 years' experience in the career counseling field.
Debra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a Master of Education in College Counseling from the University of Delaware. She is a member of the National Career Development Association and has served on NCDA's Professional Standards Committee.

Assistant Director/ Career Consultant for Business
Julie serves as the liaison to the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business, providing resources and coordinating career-related programs, courses and events for undergraduate and graduate students. She counsels students relevant to their selection of a career and all aspects of the job-search process. In addition, she establishes and maintains effective working relationships with potential and current employers and supports recruiting activities of the department.
Julie joined the Center for Career Development in August of 2017. She came to Duquesne after spending 12 years with Marriott International. Julie has also worked for The Disney Store and in Pharmaceutical Sales for Eli Lilly and Company.
Julie earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University. She is a member of NACE - the National Association of College and Employers and has completed the NACE 30-hour Career Coaching Institute.

Lynn is the Administrative Assistant for the Center of Career Development at Duquesne University. She specializes in customer service and provides administrative support for the department by managing the front office and supervising the Career Assistants. Lynn coordinates reception, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, and job approvals. Lynn is the Career Closet Coordinator. She enjoys engaging and interacting with the students while helping them navigate through the next steps toward their future while looking their best!
