Handshake - our online automated system serving the job search needs of Duquesne University students. If you would like an account to browse internship and job opportunities for your students, please contact us.

Career Resource Library - a reading room located within the Center for Career Development, containing periodicals, graduate school guides, job search materials, and more. Resources can be found on the Gumberg Library online catalogue.

On-Campus Recruiting - held during the fall and spring semesters for students, this program is open to current students interested in internships, and graduating students and alumni looking for career opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to interview with numerous employers. The On-Campus Recruiting Program is conducted online through Handshake; all sign-ups for interviews must be done according to posted deadline dates.

Internship Program - provides students with professional, entry-level work experience as a valuable element of their academic curriculum.

Career Expos -held on-campus, one each in the fall and spring semesters. Career Expos are open to all students and alumni of Duquesne University. No fee is charged although pre-registration is required. Employers recruit for full-time, internship, part-time, summer, and temporary positions. The Center for Career Development is also part of WestPACS, which hosts two job fairs each academic year.

Events and Workshops - scheduled on a regular basis to assist students and alumni with career-related topics. These group sessions include: resume writing, interviewing techniques and job search strategies. Pre-registration is requested.
