Pittsburgh Potpourri, Part 2 will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the PNC Recital Hall of the Mary Pappert School of Music.
Mike Tomaro, director of the jazz studies program in the music school, is both artistic director of-and a saxophonist in-the Uptown Jazz Series. The concerts feature School of Music faculty as well as guest artists.
This year, the School of Music will partner with the non-profit organization Pittsburgh Creators' Project, which promotes composers, choreographers, photographers, filmmakers and others who are from or have ties to the greater Pittsburgh area. Prior to each concert in the series, Pittsburgh Creators' Project will exhibit work in the PNC Recital Hall lobby.
