For the fourth consecutive year, Duquesne University's Palumbo-Donahue School of Business' undergraduate program ranked among the best in the country on the Poets&Quants' 2022 list of Best Undergraduate Business Schools.

Poets&Quants, a leading online publication for undergraduate business and education news, ranked Duquesne No. 76 on its prestigious annual list. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, Duquesne's School of Business shapes students into leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets who challenge conventional thinking, seize new opportunities and make a difference in the business world and beyond.

"It is most gratifying to be ranked among the best undergraduate business programs," says Dr. Dean McFarlin, dean of the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. "There are thousands of business programs worldwide, and this ranking underscores that we are among the top 95 business schools when it comes to undergraduate education."

Notably, alumni who were surveyed by Poets&Quants about their experience as students at Duquesne ranked the School of Business No. 19 of out 95 total.

"Our ranking in the Alumni Experience category is our highest yet and a marker of the impact we have on students with our applied, experiential focus that embeds real corporate projects across the curriculum," adds McFarlin.

Schools featured on the list were ranked based on admissions standards, academic experience and career outcomes.

"This data-driven recognition is emblematic of the passion and commitment of our faculty and staff," explains Dr. William Spangler, associate dean for undergraduate programs in the School of Business. "It also validates our hands-on approach to business education and the personal engagement of our faculty, and illustrates that our focus on building success-skills resonates with our students once they are in the workforce."

Poets&Quants compiled the 2022 rankings based on a representative survey of over 5,400 alumni and school-reported data. In the final scoring, only 95 business schools met the selection standard.
