Bethel Park Resident Appointed to International Editorial Board
Duquesne University Distinguished Professor of Law Robert S. Barker has been appointed to the International Editorial Board of the law journal Ars Boni et Aequi, which is published by the Universidad Bernardo O’Higgins in Santiago, Chile.
In addition, Barker has had three of his most recent works published. Jurisdicción Constitucional y Judicial Review: La Experiencia de los Estados Unidos, was published in Derecho Procesal Constitucional Americano y Europeo (Buenos Aires); The Concept of Precedent and Its Significance in the Constitutional Law of the United States, was published in Revista Jurídica Demorcracia, Direito & Cidadania (Brazil); and El Proceso Independentista de los Estados Unidos wasa published in Historia Comparada de las Américas: Sus Procesos Independentistas (Mexico City).
Barker’s areas of expertise include constitutional law, legal process, comparative law, civil procedure and international law. He recently coordinated Constitutional Litigation: Procedural Protections of Constitutionalism in the Americas and Beyond, a two-day symposium at Duquesne’s School of Law.
Barker resides in Bethel Park.
