Duquesne and Tiffin Universities Forge Articulation Agreement

Duquesne University and Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University have established an articulation agreement enabling students to earn an associate of arts degree in general studies at Ivy Bridge before transferring into the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts at Duquesne. Students can earn a bachelor of arts from Duquesne in approximately two years.

“The McAnulty College is pleased to enter into this articulation agreement with Ivy Bridge College of Tiffin University,” said Dr. Evan Stoddard, acting dean of the college. “We look forward to accepting these students and helping them prepare for productive and creative lives of service in a rapidly changing world.”

Cam Cruickshank, managing director of Ivy Bridge College and vice president for enrollment management at Tiffin, said Ivy Bridge students are pioneers in a program that will be a model for 21st century higher education.

“There are only a few online associate’s degree programs in general studies, and most are focused on preparation for specific careers rather than on transfer toward a bachelor’s degree,” said Cruickshank. “Thanks to our program and institutions like Duquesne, we are providing opportunities to students who otherwise might not find a way to earn a bachelor’s degree and go on to successful careers.”

A leader in online education, Tiffin University is an independent, residential institution in Tiffin, Ohio, that launched Ivy Bridge College in 2008 to deliver an associate’s degree program that provides students unparalleled mentoring, support and transferability to most four-year colleges and universities.
