Duquesne Student/Eastern Quiz Bowl Champ Will Compete for National Title
Katie Barr, a fourth-year athletic training (AT) student in Duquesne University's Rangos School of Health Sciences, will serve as the eastern finalist at the National Quiz Bowl during the National Athletic Trainers' Association's 64th Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia in June.
Barr competed against other professional-phase students from AT programs in the northeast United States at the Jeopardy-style competition on Jan. 4 at the annual Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association Meeting and Clinical Symposium in Buffalo, NY.
Barr is a native of Frederick, Md.
