Ethics Luncheon Forum Focuses on The Virtuous CEO
As part of its Ethics Luncheon Forum, Duquesne’s Beard Center for Leadership in Ethics is hosting The Virtuous CEO, featuring Dr. John E. Murray Jr. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Duquesne Club, 325 Sixth Ave., Pittsburgh.
Today’s business world is filled with compliance challenges emerging from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, raising various questions surrounding corporate governance and board assessment. Now more than ever, a “virtuous CEO” is beckoned to manage business organizations. Murray, chancellor and professor of law at Duquesne University, will address why business leaders are facing these challenges and what is the critical missing ingredient in all of these new efforts at regulatory reform of business governance.
Cost is $90 per person, $750 per table of eight. To register or for more information, call 412.396.4005 or e-mail email@example.com.
