International Students Celebrate 25 Years of Diversity
The International Student Organization (ISO) at Duquesne University will mark its 25th anniversary with 25 Years of Cultural Reflections, its annual international night celebration featuring food, an international fashion show and ethnic performances by ISO members.The evening’s 14 performances include dancing in the Irish, Indian, Eastern European, Salsa and modern styles. The special dinner will feature food from every nation provided and prepared by ISO members and their families.
Founded in 1981 by the Rev. Sean Hogan, C.S.Sp., executive vice president for student life, the ISO has more than 60 members who represent nations around the world. The organization promotes understanding among international and American students, and assists international students academically, socially and spiritually.
