Duquesne Federalist Society Hosting Cato Institute Senior Fellow
The Duquesne University Federalist Society student organization will host guest speaker Walter Olson, senior fellow at the Cato Institute's Center for Constitutional Studies, at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Room 204 of the School of Law.
Olson is the author of Schools for Misrule: Legal Academia and an Overlawyered America and The Rule of Lawyers. His works are regularly published in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and the New York Post. Olson also has served as a columnist for Great Britain's Times Online and Reason. The founder of Overlawyered.com, Olson has appeared several times before Congress and has advised numerous public officials.
Jason T. Shipp of Goldberg Persky & White PC will provide a commentary following Olson's presentation.
