Duquesne's PA State Grant-Matching Program Offers Up to Additional $10,000 in Support

Qualified Pennsylvania residents seeking a horizon-expanding education at Duquesne University can now receive up to $10,000 in financial assistance at the undergraduate level thanks to the University's PA State Grant-Matching Program.

Duquesne's new financial-assistance initiative will provide funding to eligible new undergraduate Pennsylvania residents planning to attend the University.

New first-year and transfer students eligible for PA State Grants will get an automatic matching grant of up to $10,000 over 4 years (up to $2,500 per year) that will add to PA State Grant funds (up to $5,000) awarded based on financial need.

"The PA State Grant-Matching Program is yet another financial tool we have created to help students and families pursue a Duquesne education," said Joel Bauman, senior vice president for enrollment management. "Pennsylvania families now have one more financial planning resource, in addition to the scholarships and grants that are supported by our dedicated alumni, micro-scholarships available through RaiseMe, Pittsburgh Promise Preferred Partner benefits, payment plans and more."

Duquesne students learn the skills to build a fulfilling career and discover how their profession can improve the lives of others. As new alumni, they embark on a meaningful career path prepared for anything, with confidence, impressive experience and powerful networks.

Pennsylvania residents who apply to Duquesne University, complete their FAFSA application by the deadline and meet the requirements of the PA State Grant will automatically receive this guaranteed match award in their financial aid package.
