Food ‘Destined for the Dumpster’ to be Reused for Sustainability Dinner at Duquesne
What: Chefs from Parkhurst Dining at Duquesne University will create a special "Sustainability Supper" aimed at creating the lowest possible environmental impact.
A lecture by Thomas McQuillan, a Duquesne graduate and vice president for corporate strategy, culture and sustainability at Baldor Specialty Foods, will follow the dinner. The dinner and lecture are precursors to the annual Integrity of Creation conference.
When: Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m.
Where: Africa Room, Student Union, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
