Spring Clean-Up Sweeps through Hill, Uptown, South Side
The 19th annual Spring Clean-Up will take place on Saturday, April 19. Sponsored by Duquesne University’s Spiritan Campus Ministry, Spring Clean-Up helps to strengthen Duquesne’s longstanding relationship with the local neighborhoods while performing community service.
Teams of DU students, faculty, and staff will be dispersed in Uptown, the Hill District and the South Side.
This year, the event has attracted the attention of a film crew from Kosovo, which will document the anti-litter efforts in Pittsburgh and several other American cities to raise public awareness in Kosovo.
Date: Saturday, April 19
Check-in, 9 a.m., under Mellon Patio on campus
Clean-up until 1 p.m. at various locations throughout the city
