Authentic Relationships, Authentic Good.

Equity and opportunity begin at home. From its founding, Duquesne has been dedicated to building a better Pittsburgh. We're deeply embedded in local communities, working side-by-side with community members to address systemic challenges in health, education, legal access, economic development and more.

As we seek opportunities here at home, we also share what we know as our faculty, students and alumni move to other communities around the world.

The Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research (CETR) helps students and faculty collaborate with the community in meaningful ways.

Community engagement brings people and agencies together to make a positive and sustainable difference in the community. Through authentic partnerships between campus and community, modeled in our Spiritan tradition, we work together to build a more just and equitable world.
