The Department of Biological Sciences at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh PA, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor. Successful candidates will join a group of faculty with expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, physiology, microbiology, evolutionary and ecological genetics, and neuroscience working within a robust and collaborative research environment across departments and schools on campus. - Develop a vigorous, externally-funded, independent research program within the broad areas of developmental biology, organismal biology, or cell/molecular biology;
- Contribute to teaching in one of our undergraduate concentrations (Evolutionary and Organismal Biology, Physiology, or Molecular Biology);
- Develop a graduate course in their area of expertise;
- Mentor Ph.D. and undergraduate students in their laboratory.
- Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have post-doctoral experience.
