Financing graduate education can be a challenge. The Palumbo-Donahue School offers competitive financial awards, including scholarships, fellowships and graduate assistantships on a merit basis to domestic and international full-time students in all of our graduate programs. Up to six fellowships are awarded each year.

Initial awards are based on application credentials, undergraduate transcripts, and standardized test score reports. Awards for subsequent semesters are based on academic performance in graduate coursework at Duquesne and award-specific criteria.

Please note that students who are already receiving tuition remission or assistance from Duquesne University are not eligible.

One-Year M.B.A Fellowships & Scholarships

Fellowships (up to 10 per academic year) are awarded to assist with research and publication projects with faculty. Common areas of support include entrepreneurship, business ethics, and sustainable business practices.
Coverdell Peace Corps Fellowships are offered to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers to pursue a self-designed local initiative that serves the Peace Corps' "third goal."
All admitted applicants to the One-Year M.B.A. program are considered for merit-based financial awards based on the strength of the application as presented by academic records, standardized scores, school and workplace accomplishments, recommendations and personal essays.

Employer Tuition Assistance

Many employers provide financial support for continuing education, so we encourage students to check with their Human Resources department. Duquesne offers a tuition deferment plan for students whose employers do not reimburse until the course is completed.
