We're so glad you're here with us at PMEA!

Stop by our booth (#307) to learn more about what it means to be a Duquesne Musician! We are here in the conference marketplace to answer all of your important questions about everything from student life to auditions and music awards. If you want to experience being a student we can connect you to plenty of ways to do just that!

Welcome Alumni

Stop by the booth to say Hi and collect your DUQ alumni sticker! We want to know what you've been up to recently and we have fun and easy ways you can share your story. Also, we have information to share about the Summer Music Series which features overnight camps for students entering grades 9–12 next year as well as professional development for music educators.

Our Alumni Reception

Join us for drinks and dessert following the Thursday evening concert featuring the US Army Field Band, Six-String Soldiers. Our alumni reception will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Kalahari Convention Center. This year we'll feature a Wii Sports & Mario Kart challenge as well as some yard games and giveaways. Come socialize with former classmates and teachers - your first drink is on us!

Take a Trial Lesson

You can apply to the Mary Pappert School of Music and take a free lesson with our award-winning faculty (online or in-person). Prepare for your audition while getting to know your future teacher. Ask them questions about what to expect on audition day and what to work on as you practice and prepare for your audition.
