Physics 170—Acoustics is recommended. Available spring semesters only.

Six semesters of MUPF 153—Orchestral Rep/Lit are required. Recommended that students begin in the second year.

Several Essential Questions Seminars also meet PHIL and/or THEO requirements.

Offered in fall semesters of odd-numbered years. Students enroll concurrently in both courses. Each class is a half-semester long. Students will start the semester in Career Perspectives in Music I and switch to Career Perspectives in Music II halfway through the semester. Details of course dates are available in the university’s academic calendar.

Occurs each spring—percussion players should take it the spring semester of odd-numbered years.
