Duquesne Law School, Alumni Team Up for Bar Exam Mentor Program
Duquesne School of Law alumni are teaming up with their alma mater and other local young attorneys to pay it forward and help current University law students prepare for the grueling bar exam.
The Bar Buddies Mentorship Program pairs graduating law students with young attorney mentors from the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA). Created by the ACBA three years ago, the Bar Buddies program has successfully matched numerous students with young mentors.
Duquesne's law school is hosting a special Bar Buddies Mentorship Program presentation for law students on campus, which will include a panel that will discuss the bar exam application process, commercial prep courses and much more.
Immediately following the presentation, a reception will be held during which law students will be matched up with their respective mentor/attorney.
When: Tuesday, March 10, from 5:15 to 7 p.m.
Where: Student Lounge, School of Law, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
