D.A.R.T. members are trained volunteers from around the country who are dedicated to assisting the University outreach and recruit new and prospective students. Historically, this was most often done by conducting high-school visits and staffing college fairs when Admissions staff are unable to attend due to scheduling constraints. However, the Office of Alumni Engagement and the division of Enrollment Management are always looking for new and creative ways that our alumni can support our enrollment goals. Join our D.A.R.T. to learn more and be involved in future opportunities.Join D.A.R.T.
Many alumni, parents and family members enjoy the opportunity to engage with other students and members of our alumni community as volunteers at campus-sponsored events. Our Event Volunteers have the opportunity to support these experiences by helping to greet guests, assist with registration, and in other ways alongside the direction of University staff. Members of this Network are notified of events where support is needed and can register for those that suit their interests and schedule, and can pass on those that don't.

By joining our DukesConnect platform (launched in the summer of 2020), alumni have the ability to create a profile (or link their existing LinkedIn profile) so that other alumni and students can seek them out for questions, advice, or mentoring. Mentors can indicate how many students they are willing to mentor and in what ways they are willing to assist (i.e. meet virtually, meet in person, provide introductions to others in your industry, review resumes, etc.) Those seeking help can use the platform to find alumni they are interested in connecting with.
