Young Alumni Pre-Game Brunch at Homecoming & Family Weekend

Alumni who have graduated in the last ten years are invited to a pre-game tailgate brunch during Homecoming weekend that includes a brunch buffet of Hogan Dining Hall favorites, mimosas, beer, hard seltzers, games, and raffle prizes. Guests are welcome.

Cocktails and Carols

Kick off the holiday season with fellow young alumni and campus partners at Duquesne's annual Night of Lights with unique and beautiful views all around campus. Enjoy festive appetizers and holiday cocktails with live music and door prizes.

Life Beyond the Bluff

Members of the young alumni community are invited to a virtual webinar series to learn about topics not typically taught in the classroom that will help you to develop valuable life skills essential to a successful transition from college to post-graduation life.

Young Alumni Network Happy Hour with Recent Grads

Members of the young alumni community are invited to socialize and network in May with Spring graduates. Attendees are entered into a raffle of $50 gift cards.

The Duquesne University Young Alumni Network will annually seek and accept nominations for the Dukes from the Last Decade Awards, which recognizes young alumni who have demonstrated professional excellence, service to their communities, and commitment to the mission of Duquesne University in their daily lives.

The Young Alumni Network (YAN) is a leadership organization advocating for Duquesne’s diverse young alumni population of graduating students and alumni of the last decade with social, educational, professional, and service-based programming.

As a member of the Young Alumni Network, you take part in determining the types of programming the YAN produces each year. Additionally, you are expected to attend quarterly meetings throughout the year and assist with YAN-hosted events. This position requires a moderate time commitment but yields endless connections with fellow alumni and current DU students. Terms begin on July 1 and end June 30.
