Orphan or Ward of the Court – Documentation Required

You indicated on your FAFSA that you are an orphan or were a ward of the court. To complete our review, please submit official supporting documentation confirming this status.
 
Acceptable documentation may include:

• Court documents showing ward of the court or foster care status
• Death certificate(s) for your parent(s)
• Other official court or agency records confirming your status
• Upload copies of the appropriate documentation to your student portal. Federal financial aid eligibility cannot be finalized until this requirement is reviewed and verified.
