Proof of Citizenship

Proof of U.S. Citizenship Required (Title IV Aid)

Your citizenship status could not be confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security. To determine your eligibility for federal (Title IV) financial aid, you must submit proof of U.S. citizenship.

Please provide one of the following:

• U.S. birth certificate
• U.S. passport (current or expired)
• Certificate of Naturalization
• Certificate of Citizenship
• Documents must be original and presented in person or a copy certified by a notary public.
• Photocopies that are notarized can be accepted.
• Federal aid cannot be disbursed until this requirement is resolved.
