Professor Emerita Martha Jordan retired from the law school in 2019. Jordan formely served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and as an Associate Professor. She joined the law school faculty in 1992 and taught courses in property, federal taxation, and estate planning. Jordan's scholarship includes issues on estate planning, property law, and the law of historic preservation.
Jordan has served on various law school committees and chaired the Faculty Recruitment Committee. She is a member of the Preservation Pennsylvania Board of Trustees and a previous board member for the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation as well as the Landmarks Financial Corporation.
