Financial Aid & Scholarships

When you apply for admission, you're automatically considered for first-year or transfer academic scholarships. Check out our net price calculator for a tuition estimate. The average financial aid package for first-time full-time freshmen with financial need is $28,599. Eligible students may also qualify for DU's PA State Matching Grant.

Tuition Payment Plans

The Office of Student Accounts offers semester-based payment plans so you can pay the tuition balance due in manageable monthly installments.

Additional scholarships

Other sources for financing your education include micro-scholarships via RaiseMe, SAGE tuition rewards, and 529 college savings plans - there's one for every state including PA, and you don't need to be a resident to participate in a state's plan. Duquesne is also a Preferred Partner of the Pittsburgh Promise (PPS students).
