Academic Scholarships

When you apply for admission as a transfer student we will evaluate the number of credits completed, program of study and GPA to determine your academic scholarship.

PA State Grant and Financial Aid

Pennsylvania residents eligible for the PA State Grant can get an automatic DU transfer matching grant: up to $20,400 through graduation or four years (up to $5,100 per year).

If you haven’t yet completed a PA State Grant Application for 2023, complete both the FAFSA application (Duquesne’s FAFSA code is 003258), and the PA State Grant application by May 1, which is the PA State Grant application deadline. We recommend you list Duquesne University at the top of your list of colleges so that your PA State Grant information will be sent to Duquesne.

Additional Financial Aid Resources

  • You can also explore our Net Price Calculator to get a better estimate about what your cost of attendance might be.
  • Connect with your admissions counselor if you have any questions about your transcripts.

Duquesne has been consistently ranked as a best value university

Transfer student Roberto Laporte.

When comparing Duquesne with other schools, I saw that Duquesne offered a more personalized, valuable experience with professors, and also project opportunities to get real-world experience with local employers. On top of that, the financial aid I received from Duquesne surpassed what other colleges offered.”
