Your Future in Teaching is Just a Scholarship Away!
Duquesne University is passionate about preparing the next generation of educators who will make a meaningful impact in the field of education and their communities. Our Future Educator Scholarship is awarded to eligible incoming first-year students enrolling in our School of Education, in addition to academic merit scholarships.
This additional scholarship supports students financially and encourages a strong commitment to education and community service, aligning with Duquesne University’s mission and values. Scholarships are awarded based on a holistic review, including academic achievements, curriculum strength, community contributions and extracurricular experiences, as well as demonstrated financial need.
You must apply to Duquesne as an education major by January 15 to be considered for a Future Educator Scholarship. No additional application is necessary. Applicants are encouraged to submit a FAFSA and/or CSS Profile in order to ensure maximum financial aid from all sources.
