The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures offers students and faculty a wide array of language-learning tools and resources, including a collection of supplemental CDs and DVDs that accompany course textbooks, and a vast library of feature films and documentaries in more than ten different languages.  The Department also has a Language Lab, located on the second floor of Fisher Hall, with 22 cubicles equipped with PCs, DVD players and headsets, as well as a Video Lab that can be used by students and faculty to create original video and/or audio productions.

Through Blackboard, students and faculty also have access to various language learning tools designed to facilitate listening and speaking skills. We have also developed a long list of online resources for students and faculty, which you can access by selecting one of the languages under Online Resources in the menu column.
