Healthcare providers are not fully aware of the legal, ethical, and logistical challenges of complete documentation and its impact on accurate coding. Current information will be presented regarding CMS requirements for correct documentation and how to properly document to support accurate coding in the clinical setting utilizing evidence-based guidelines.
Duquesne University School of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, and accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Criteria for successful completion includes attendance and completion of an evaluation of the event. You will receive 2.0 credits for attendance of the event.
