A Run for Ryan 5k Honors Local Fallen Soldier

Nearly 300 are expected to participate in A Run for Ryan, a 5K fun/walk on Duquesne’s campus in honor of Sgt. Ryan Lane, a soldier who was killed in action last summer.

At the request of Lane’s family, proceeds from the event will benefit the military education in Duquesne’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement through the University’s Legacy Fund.

More than 350 individuals have already donated more than $4,000.

When: Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m.

Where: Bluff Street, behind Assumption Hall, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
