Advising

Becky Ellsworth, assistant dean and director of graduate student services, offers assistance with planning your program of study and registering for courses, and can connect you with any resources you need in order to be a successful graduate student.

Career Advancement

Christine Hughes, program manager for career advancement and experiential learning, will be your career coach. In this role, Christine offers personal advising and a variety of resources dedicated to helping you launch a new career or advance in your current role.

Leadership Opportunities

  • Donahue Business Society: The Donahue Business Society is the student organization for graduate business students at Duquesne. The DBS serves as a student advocacy group that works with both the students and faculty to improve the student experience, strengthen alumni relations and networking, career placement before and after graduation, and work with local charities to build leadership and character within the business and local communities.
  • Net Impact: Net Impact is a global network of leaders who are changing the world through business. Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use business to improve the world. Membership is open to any interested student, regardless of major.
  • Student Ambassadors: The Student Ambassador program offers opportunities to connect with prospective students. Student Ambassadors share their experiences and perspective by giving tours, attending information sessions, and/or contacting prospective students.
