Airport Transportation Options

Ride Sharing (Uber, Lyft & zTrip)

Once you have arrived at the airport, follow signs to the baggage claim area and exit using Door 4. You will see both Uber and Lyft loading zones. You can request a ride to campus through the Uber or Lyft smartphone apps and your driver will meet you at the designated loading zone. The cost for these services will be approximately $30-$50.

Yellow Cab (Taxi)

You can hire a yellow cab taxi from outside of the baggage claim area. Exit the building near the elevators, through the door that says "Shuttles/Taxis", and there will be a line of yellow cabs to your left. If there are no cabs, there will be a telephone on a nearby pole that will summon a taxi cab (they are usually paked just around the corner). The cost for a ride to campus is approximately $50-60 and it will take about 30 minutes. (It may take much longer between the rush hours of 4pm - 7pm.) You can also share a cab with a few friends if you are travelling together.

28X Public Bus

The 28X public bus will bring you to The Blvd of the Allies Footbridge (Duquesne). The cost is $2.75 (exact change is needed) and it takes approximately 40 minutes to get to Duquesne. (You can also purchase a ConnectCard.) Please note: You will be responsible for handling your own baggage both on and off the vehicle. There are several steps that you will need to climb in order to arrive onto Duquesne's campus. If you have a lot of baggage, you may prefer another transportation option.
